ABOUT Belmore
Belmore is a suburb, in south-western Sydney, in the state of New South
Wales, Australia. Belmore is located 15km south west of the Sydney central
business district in the City of Canterbury. The postcode is 2192.
Belmore contains a mixture of residential, commercial and industrial
developments. The main commercial area is located along Burwood Road, near
Belmore railway station. Commercial and industrial developments are also
located along Canterbury Road and surrounding streets.
Belmore Sports Ground is the former home ground of the National Rugby League
team Canterbury Bulldogs, and is still used by the club for training and
administration. The Canterbury Leagues Club is also located in the suburb. |
